Welcome to the home website of the Cherng Loong(Soaring Dragon) Lion Dance Troupe of San Francisco. We are a young team that has been around since the year 2000. However, some of our senior members have experience well beyond Cherng Loong's existence. Our troupe only performs the Lion Dance and is working toward the Dragon Dance. We do performances for various occasions like grand openings, weddings, birthdays or any sort of celebration that calls for some sort of entertainment. A performance usually consists of a musical orchestra made up of a drum, cymbals and a gong. And then they will be accompanied by one to three or five lions.
